Key Responsibilities
- Configure, optimize, and maintain Epic ClinDoc tools including flowsheets, assessments, care plans, patient education, nursing documentation, worklists, navigators, and handoff tools.
- Support clinical documentation workflows for admission, transfer, discharge, daily assessments, interdisciplinary care, and regulatory requirements across Med/Surg, Long-Term Care, and Rehabilitation settings.
- Collaborate with clinical informatics, quality, compliance, and nursing leadership to translate operational requirements into system build and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, user-reported errors, workflow gaps, routing errors, and system configuration issues.
- Participate in Epic upgrades, updates, and enhancement projects by analyzing release notes, executing builds, supporting testing, and managing go-live readiness.
- Develop and execute unit, integrated, and regression test scripts to maintain system integrity and prevent operational disruptions.
- Partner with integrated Epic application teams (Orders, ASAP, Willow, Beacon, Radiant, Ambulatory, Security, Reporting, and Identity) to maintain seamless workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Active Epic ClinDoc Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting clinical inpatient nursing systems as an Epic ClinDoc Analyst.
- Partial or completed college degree.
- Strong working knowledge of Epic ClinDoc tools, workflows, and build standards across Medical/Surgical, Long-Term Care, and Rehabilitation settings.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical workflows, perform root cause troubleshooting, and translate requirements into technical build and test plans.
- Knowledge of healthcare documentation standards, compliance policies, regulatory requirements, and quality reporting metrics.
