Job Summary

An experienced, passionate pioneer in technology, you will join Deloitte under our Project Talent Model as an Epic Hospital Billing Analyst. This hybrid role supports/coaches/advises the Client's Project IT Team with tasks throughout the implementation cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of project delivery, ensuring work is executed with precision and in alignment with established guidelines and quality standards
  • Provide Epic design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module
  • Follow guidelines for complex to critical issue handling and ensure the team follows them
  • Manage application enhancements, break-fixes, standard applications changes and maintenance activities
  • Attend team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, work tasks, and issues
  • Coordinate with the offshore team for continuity of build, deployment and support
  • Develop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation
  • Complete specific team task activities as outlined in the project work plan and other job-related duties as assigned
  • Drive discussions with business and functional analysts to understand the business requirements
  • Create and maintain regular status reports and provide verbal and written status to project managers and project leadership, as required
  • Anticipate, prepare and escalate upcoming issues/risks
  • Perform detailed quality reviews/audits on deliverables and provide technical guidance to the team members
  • I dentify problems to reduce recurring incidents and identify improvement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Current Epic Hospital Billing Certification
  • 3+ years of experience with required module(s) development & application maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical environment, or healthcare setting
  • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Superior communication and customer service abilities
  • Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Perform build activities in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing modules
  • Analyze workflows, propose and implement improvements using Epic tools and personalization features
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Familiarity with Epic Hyperdrive build environment
  • Experience with all aspects of testing lifecycle - unit, system, integrated testing
  • Additional Epic Certifications, such as Contracts, Claims/Remits, etc.
