EPIC HIM Analyst

100% Remote Title: HIM Analyst Interview Times / Process: Teams video interview, scheduled ASAP. Start Date: ASAP Duration: 9 + Months (with potential to extend based on project need) Required Skills Strong HIM terminology and workflow experience, able to work independently with minimal onboarding.Prior experience supporting Epic implementations, go-lives, or modernization/refuel initiatives.Comfortable working in a fully remote capacity with a distributed project team. Desired Skills Formal Epic certification in a relevant HIM module is a plus but not required, deep familiarity with terminology and workflow matters most.Experience coordinating with or supporting third-party AI coding or documentation vendors.Experience with Release of Information (ROI) processes and clearinghouse transitions.Experience supporting a Revenue Cycle or HIM organization at a large academic or multi-hospital health system. Day To Day Responsibilities Provide analyst-level support for HIM, including build, validation, and testing.Support the AI coding and documentation solution rollouts, the ROI initiative, and the clearinghouse conversion project.Support the Optum Insight implementation for ED and freestanding ED locations.Partner with the HIM lead and manager, and PB/HB counterparts where ROI and template work overlaps.Maintain accurate status reporting and task tracking within the client's project management systems as required.
