Epic Cogito Developer / Report Writer -Senior

Job Summary

The Epic Cogito Developer / Report Writer designs, builds, and maintains reports, dashboards, and data extracts within the Epic Cogito reporting environment at UVM Health. This role deploys new SlicerDicer data models, performs impact analyses for Epic upgrades, and executes remediations to ensure reporting continuity. The Developer works alongside data analysts to understand stakeholder needs and delivers appropriate solutions using Epic tools, including direct interaction with stakeholders to further understand and refine requirements. The Developer collaborates closely with the Epic IT team, analysts, and clinical informatics staff.

About the Role

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and Epic Cogito Proficiency certification or achievement within 120 days of hire. Additional Cogito build certifications are preferred. 3+ years of experience with Epic Cogito reporting tools such as Clarity, Caboodle, and Radar, developing production Epic reports, dashboards, and SlicerDicer configurations, deploying SlicerDicer data models, performing upgrade impact analyses, and executing remediations. Experience in a healthcare setting and working knowledge of SQL are also required. Experience in an agile product delivery environment is preferred.
