EPIC COGITO DEVELOPER, ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS

About the Role

As an EPIC Cogito Developer at SGMC Health, you will support all clinical and administrative staff in their reporting needs, data structures, and system build/customization. This role serves as the primary reporting resource for all reporting components of Epic, designing, documenting, configuring, developing, testing, and maintaining data solutions using a variety of data models, software, applications, and programming languages within the Epic EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, configure, develop, test, and maintain data solutions using various data models, software, applications, and programming languages.
• Serve as the primary reporting resource for all reporting components of Epic.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or higher education, in a related field is required. Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Strong skills/experience with Crystal Reports, Business Objects, relational databases, and/or SQL.
• 1+ year of experience with the healthcare industry strongly preferred.
• Operational experience with an electronic Revenue Cycle System preferred.

Working Conditions

• Business setting, indoors with possibility of irregular hours and/or call back.
• Moderate to heavy stress on a continued basis.
• Required to work flexible schedule to accommodate on-call responsibilities, including accessing systems from off-campus to analyze/resolve issues.
• May require working nights, weekends, and/or holidays during software conversions, installations, or to meet deadlines.
• Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.
• Requires corrected vision within an acceptable range.
• Requires lifting, transporting, and installing computer equipment up to approximately 50 pounds.
