Epic Clinical Trainer I - Enterprise Informatics

About the role

This full-time position is part of the Epic Training Team, focusing on post-live stabilization and optimization. The role involves ad-hoc support for departments needing extra Epic assistance, collaborating with leadership to identify training and efficiency needs, and serving as a liaison between end users and application teams to ensure proper training completion. This foundational training role offers potential growth into a certified or principal trainer as Mosaic expands its training program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and education to end users requiring additional support after completing EUTS training.
  • Create thorough and complete documentation for projects, intake, training, and other necessary records.
  • Work with department leaders to develop dashboards, reporting, and additional curricula based on identified training gaps (e.g., Day in Life Sessions).
  • Implement a 30/60/90-day checklist for new hires across all departments.
  • Process TSAs for new hires.
  • Co-own New Hire Orientation and New Provider Orientation.
  • Provide training room support.
  • Manage the Jira Ticketing System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (Preferred).
  • 2 years of experience organizing and prioritizing to meet project deadlines (Required).
  • 2 years of experience in adult learning and development, corporate training, or organizational development programs (Preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in human relations and written, verbal, and electronic communication (Preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in oral presentation, facilitating, and conducting training (Preferred).
  • Experience with Epic is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Products.
  • Understanding of Epic/Mosaic Workflows.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated skill in human relations and written, verbal, and electronic communication.
  • Proven skill in oral presentation and facilitation.
  • Experience organizing and prioritizing to meet project deadlines.
