Job Summary
The IS Epic Application Analyst II is responsible for configuring and providing intermediate functional and technical support for Epic Radiant to business and clinical users. They also collaborate with end users to understand workflows and make necessary adjustments or enhancements.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Possess detailed healthcare and systems knowledge in cardiology and/or radiology imaging
- Collaborate with third-party applications to create comprehensive cardiology/radiology imaging workflows, including PACS and voice dictation systems
- Show technical expertise in various integration methods with Epic (workstation, interfaces, measurement exchange, and imaging modalities)
- Aid in test recommendations for corrective actions and problem resolution within the software application
- Create and execute test scripts for new system builds, ensuring timeliness and effectiveness
- Provide testing and documentation of workflows, data collections, end-user report details, and other technical issues related to applications, considering both vendor and internal stakeholder perspectives
- Create, modify, and track system builds, ensuring timeliness and effectiveness
- Implement system updates and changes, communicating these changes to super users and end users
- Offer ongoing application help and end-user training for all supported applications
- Engage, manage, and communicate with all stakeholders
- Solve problems by studying business issues and requirements, analyzing workflows, and synthesizing key messages
- Coordinate training materials and schedules for all super users and end users, serving as a liaison between end users, subject matter experts, and vendor implementation teams
Key Success Factors
- Working knowledge of end user workflows; expertise in the workflows and the inputs/outputs from an end user and patient perspective
- Ability and experience to own the technical components of end user workflows
- Excellent teamwork and facilitation skills
- Intermediate proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, workflow tools, and email software applications
- Customer-oriented service excellence methods
- Self-motivated with the ability to identify and resolve issues, and advance personal knowledge

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- Experience: 2 years of experience
- Certification/License/Registration: Epic Certification (EPICCERT) - required
