Epic Application Analyst- Hospital Billing Analyst

About the role

The Epic Application Analyst- Hospital Billing Analyst supports Hospital Billing operations across a multi-hospital health system. The role involves maintaining production support, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support Epic Resolute Hospital Billing functionality.
• Configure and optimize Patient Estimates.
• Support Patient Financial Responsibility workflows.
• Troubleshoot Hospital Billing production issues.
• Analyze revenue cycle workflows and recommend improvements.
• Support third-party vendor integrations.
• Configure and maintain outbound data files.
• Monitor interface activity and data integrity.
• Perform workflow analysis and root cause investigations.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve billing efficiency.
• Participate in Epic upgrades and enhancement initiatives.
• Provide ongoing production support and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification.
• Hospital Billing implementation or support experience.
• Experience with Patient Estimates.
• Experience with Patient Financial Responsibility workflows.
• Vendor integration experience.
• Revenue Cycle optimization experience.
• Experience working within large healthcare organizations.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Exposure to Professional Billing workflows.
• Experience working with third-party revenue cycle vendors.
• Interface and file management experience.
• Multi-hospital Epic support experience.
