The Role
Your Mission: As our next Epic Ancillary Application Manager, you will lead the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the application team at Xtensys. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Epic applications to optimize workflows, enhance patient care outcomes, and drive complex initiatives from planning through execution.
You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, building strong relationships with clients and vendors, and guiding change management efforts that support organizational goals and long-term success.
What You’ll Do
- Leverage expertise in Epic applications to optimize workflows, improve patient care, and manage complex projects (Optime/Anesthesia/Lumens/Radiant/Cupid) and other third-party applications.
- Lead a high-performing team, foster relationships with vendors, and effectively manage change initiatives to align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the strategic direction and management of the application team.
- Leverage knowledge of Epic Foundation and Epic applications to optimize workflows and improve patient care.
- Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Foster strong relationships with other Xtensys leaders, customers, and third-party vendors to maximize the value of investments.
- Effectively manage change initiatives, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption.
- Partners with the Connect Program Manager to assist in Connect Program development.
Who You Are & What You’ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Certifications: One of the following relevant vendor certifications is preferred: Cupid, Radiant, OpTime/Anesthesia, or Lumens.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions. Demonstrated success in influencing and supporting operational partners with organizational change management. Demonstrated success in leading the improvement of platforms, standards, and processes. Demonstrated success managing projects within budget, vendors, partners, and/or managed services. Must have 3+ years of leadership experience supporting at least one of the following applications: Cupid, Radiant, OpTime/Anesthesia, or Lumens. 5+ years of experience in Information Systems or Informatics, including project, product, or solution delivery experience required.
