Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Epic Ambulatory application functionality.
- Gather business and clinical requirements from physicians, nurses, and clinic staff.
- Analyze current workflows and recommend system improvements.
- Create and maintain: Visit types, Department records, Provider templates, SmartForms, SmartSets, SmartPhrases, Preference lists, Clinical decision support tools.
- Perform system testing for upgrades, new functionality, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.
- Participate in Epic upgrades, optimization projects, and new implementations.
- Develop documentation, training materials, and workflow guides.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams including: Clinical Informatics, Revenue Cycle, Scheduling, Orders, MyChart, Cadence.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and Epic best practices.
- Participate in on-call support as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Epic or similar EHR systems.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
- Experience with data analysis and system configuration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay
Hourly range: $75-$85.
