Epic Ambulatory Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Epic Ambulatory application functionality.
• Gather business and clinical requirements from physicians, nurses, and clinic staff.
• Analyze current workflows and recommend system improvements.
• Create and maintain: Visit types, Department records, Provider templates, SmartForms, SmartSets, SmartPhrases, Preference lists, Clinical decision support tools.
• Perform system testing for upgrades, new functionality, and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.
• Participate in Epic upgrades, optimization projects, and new implementations.
• Develop documentation, training materials, and workflow guides.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams including: Clinical Informatics, Revenue Cycle, Scheduling, Orders, MyChart, Cadence.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and Epic best practices.
• Participate in on-call support as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Epic or similar EHR systems.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
• Experience with data analysis and system configuration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Hourly range: $75-$85.
