EPC Senior Project Manager

The EPC Senior Project Manager oversees complex EPC projects, focusing on early-stage development and delivering projects efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Engage in project development, including feasibility studies, site assessments, and proposal support.
- Collaborate with business development and engineering teams to prepare proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Provide expert advice on project strategy and risk identification during the pre-contract phase.
- Lead project planning, organization, and staffing, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Guide and oversee other Project Managers, fostering professional growth within the team.
- Actively participate in client relations, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting project expectations.
- Negotiate contracts, manage change orders, and address potential contractual issues.
- Oversee engineering and design phases, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Manage procurement, ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Oversee construction activities, enforcing safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, financial records, progress reports, and closeout analysis.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior leadership and clients.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing recovery plans.
- Monitor project performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Engage in contractor license requirements and obtain additional Company-level licenses as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical training and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in managing large-scale specialty construction projects, including significant experience in an EPC Project Manager or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies, strong leadership and technical skills, and a deep understanding of the construction trade, particularly in Energy EPC contracts.
- Additional Skills: Demonstrated experience with the full project lifecycle, including substantial involvement in project development activities such as feasibility studies, conceptual design, site assessment, and proposal support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Accubid, ACC, and Primavera is preferred.
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team, assess leadership capabilities, and foster professional growth.
- Experience in evaluating, analyzing, and supporting design and engineering oversight, even during the development phase.
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Accubid, ACC, and Primavera.

Schedule
Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
