About the role

This is a part-time, indefinite contract role partnering with a dynamic energy corporation. The position is remote with a start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Handle overflow work involving the company’s agreements with contractors for the construction and installation of large-scale clean energy projects, typically solar or battery storage.
• Draft, negotiate, and redline construction contracts, including subcontractor and contractor agreements, with a focus on the energy, solar, and battery sectors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience with commercial contracts in the energy and/or construction sectors.
• Experience with construction contracts, particularly in the energy, solar, or battery contexts.
• Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing.

Pay

$100 per hour.

Schedule

5–10 hours per week with ramp-up potential to 20+ hours per week.
