SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Level I Electrophysiology Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician(s) with all adult diagnostic and interventional Electrophysiology procedures. Primary clinical roles include scrubbing and circulating.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)
- Graduate of an associate or higher academic program in related health science
- Two (2) years full-time work experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and/or cardiac electrophysiology laboratory
- Must obtain RCES - Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist certification within 36 months from date of hire
- Administered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Must obtain BLS and ACLS certifications within 3 months from date of hire
