About the role
The Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist is responsible for the routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment, quality patient care, maintenance of required Cath lab and EP competencies, and assistance in all aspects of invasive or non-invasive cardiac procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of cardiovascular technology or equivalently accredited allied health program or certified/registered in cardiovascular technology (RCIS, RCEP, or AART)
- Documentation of 2 years of cardiac catheterization laboratory or electrophysiology lab work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and competence in basic invasive cardiovascular technology (e.g., EKG, patient assessment, and management of care)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
