EP Mapping Specialist - CAS, Providence RI

About the role

The Cardiac Ablation Solutions team develops cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat abnormal heart rhythms. This remote position requires residing within the assigned territory and driving to multiple accounts; a valid driver's license is essential. As an Affera Mapping Specialist, you will work with clinicians, engineers, physicians, and innovators to execute mapping solutions for cardiac and electrophysiological systems, provide clinical and technical support and training, promote safe and effective use of CAS products, support sales objectives, develop customer relationships, collaborate with account managers and sales teams, and serve as a regional champion for mapping technology. Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
• Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
• Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
• Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
• Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.
• Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
• Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.
• Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (minimum):

• High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
• OR Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
• OR Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
