EOB/Payment Analyst

Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely payment analysis of managed care contracts to ensure appropriate reimbursement is received.
- Analyze payments from insurance companies using complex regulations, guidelines, and systems to assure maximum and correct reimbursement of the Hospital's receivables.
- Proactively work with payers and in-house resources to identify and resolve issues that hinder optimal and correct account payment.
- Apply appropriate State and Federal regulations to ensure compliance in payment practices.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of hospital billing and collection experience.
- Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology.
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS coding structures.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $24.42 to $29.22 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
