About the Role
Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking an Environmental Test Technician (Associate or Experienced) to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The Boeing Test & Evaluation Thermal Test Engineering Labs support various defense, space, and commercial programs. This role involves assisting in the instrumentation of test articles, organization of labs, and managing testing plans and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supports activities to plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Designs systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies to meet customer requirements.
- Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components, test fixtures, and test systems.
- Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities.
- Facilitates systems integration, fabrication, and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down.
- Conducts routine tests, analyzes data, and documents results.
- Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Experience working with electronics and/or mechanical systems in design, fabrication, and test
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience troubleshooting avionic equipment, general electronics, and/or aircraft systems
Additional Information
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start. The role is primarily first shift but may require additional shifts to support program objectives. Relocation is offered based on candidate eligibility. Export control compliance requires a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Pay
Summary pay range:
- Level 2: $53,550-$72,450
- Level 3: $63,750-$86,250
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
