About the role
Magnolia is a residential due diligence practice dedicated to ensuring home buyers have comprehensive information about their new properties. The Environmental Technician plays a crucial role in delivering this assurance by conducting thorough environmental tests and managing the evidence these tests provide.
Responsibilities
- Execute a daily process of environmental testing at inspection sites across Nashville and surrounding counties, adhering to EPA guidelines and Magnolia’s procedures.
- Manage, track, and maintain all testing equipment and the company vehicle, ensuring compliance with chain of custody protocols.
- Upload and manage test results accurately, integrating them into reports used by clients for significant financial decisions.
- Aid home inspectors on-site with photography and documentation, including sewer scope inspections.
- Handle equipment inventory and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and proper calibration.
- Communicate professionally with clients, teammates, and Realtors, following a structured script.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined adherence to procedures.
- Basic smartphone and computer skills for scheduling and result uploads.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with one year of customer service experience preferred.
- Periodic drug testing required.

Schedule
