We provide essential services like gathering, compression, processing, transportation, and water management to get natural gas, natural gas liquids, and crude oil to market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a field-level team member supporting EHS compliance for company operations.
- Assist with EHS compliance at Kinetik's gas plants, compressor stations, and gathering systems.
- Aid in organizing, planning, and implementing environmental programs and policies.
- Avoid non-compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations.
- Aid in waste and remediation activities, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate spill response and remediation activities, including reporting to relevant authorities.
- Maintain a working knowledge of relevant regulations and communicate EHS status to management.
- Communicate with LDAR contractors, remediation contractors, and other third parties.
- Participate in compliance audits and resolve findings from reviews, inspections, and investigations.
- Support maintaining environmental and safety equipment inventory.
- Provide EHS orientations and training.
- Support monthly safety meetings.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, including reporting releases to relevant agencies.
- Work independently and make decisions regarding leak repair, remediation, and waste handling.
- Lead a small team of laborers to accomplish daily goals.
Required Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- 2 years of experience in an oil and gas-related field, preferably in operations, maintenance, or EHS.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in gathering and organizing data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- The ability to understand and follow directions.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
Preferred Abilities
- Leadership experience leading a small team.
- A bachelor's degree in environmental studies or an engineering discipline.
- Experience and certification in Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) and other gas detection methods.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Regularly walk and stand on rough terrain.
- Exposure to loud noises from machinery.
- Regular driving to other field facilities.
- Use of a computer to create, record, store, revise, and save documentation.
Working Conditions
- Field work involves walking and standing on rough terrain with uneven and slippery surfaces.
- The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet to moderate but may require exposure to loud noises from machinery.
- Will be required to regularly drive to other field facilities within their assigned region.
- Will regularly use a computer to perform their role.
