About the role

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
Responsibilities
- Define and steer the global goal and strategy for GDC’s Environmental Programs, prioritizing community concerns related environmental program, aligning regional initiatives with evolving Google standards and global GDC operational models.
- Partner with executive GDC leadership, CSRM, and EHS stakeholders to integrate and execute environmental initiatives as a core GDC business strategy to enable licenses to operate.
- Standardize and oversee the global environmental risk management framework to identify, evaluate, and mitigate end-to-end environmental risks, ensuring proactive adaptation to market forces.
- Establish and monitor global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving global and industry level benchmarking across all operating models with a focus on community-specific environmental impacts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience implementing environmental programs in the tech sector.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or related fields.
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience or knowledge of mission critical operations with respect to high-stakes environmental programs and communications management.
- Experience or knowledge of acoustical engineering and acoustical data analysis.
- Outstanding skills and experience in collaboration and relationship-building with cross-functional teams and executive-level stakeholders, and strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Pay
US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
