Environmental Technical Director

Responsibilities

• Manage key client and customer relationships, using account teams to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of operational information to diagnose underlying client issues and inform the design of multiple solutions.
• Direct environmental risk management implementation, aligning risk activities with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and instructions to safeguard the environment, protect well-being, and minimize business risk.
• Act as a subject matter expert in technology, policy, regulation, or operational management, maintaining external accreditations and staying updated on emerging trends.
• Manage a portfolio of major projects in line with overall project management strategy.
• Gather information and draft proposals for complex bid solicitations, requests for proposals, and tenders, potentially leading a team to fulfill process requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions by integrating and analyzing complex and diverse information sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or another science-related field.
• Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred.
• At least 20 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Experience working with municipalities is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail in a consulting environment.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings is required.

Schedule

Our hybrid work model combines in-office collaboration and flexibility. You’ll join us in the office three days a week.
