Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms and all areas of the hospital clean and sanitized.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting.
• Use specialized equipment and techniques to sanitize the facility.
• Learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials.
• Learn and safely use disinfecting chemicals and cleaning procedures.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces thoroughly in various areas including patient rooms, emergency rooms, and operating rooms.
• Restock supplies as needed in supply areas, common areas, and patient rooms.
• Dispose of medical waste properly, including biological or biohazard waste.
• Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and personable manner.

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (General Studies preferred).
• Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
