Environmental Services Worker MHB

Full-time position (1.0 FTE) within CWA Local 1133 bargaining unit; non-exempt from overtime.

Schedule

• Evenings with weekend and holiday rotation
• 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

About the role

Performs a variety of heavy services and project cleaning tasks to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. Operates various types of cleaning equipment and cleans using step-based cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and oral instructions
• Read safety instructions and chemical product labels
• Operate janitorial equipment

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior Environmental Service experience and/or experience working in a health care facility desirable
