Environmental Services Technician III - Floor Tech

About the role

Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Full-Time (F/T) Evening Floor Technician for their Environmental Services Department. The position involves the maintenance of floors, including tasks such as mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing. Additionally, the technician will cross-train to perform other Environmental Services Technician I duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors using appropriate chemicals and equipment
• Scour, scrub, strip, and polish floors as required
• Cross-train to perform other Environmental Services Technician I duties as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Up to one year of housekeeping/Environmental Services Department (ESD) experience (May be accepted in lieu of HS education)

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining floors in a commercial or healthcare setting (Preferred)
