Environmental Services Technician

About the role

Performs cleaning tasks in an assigned area of Providence Health Systems hospitals, medical centers, medical office buildings or satellites to provide a sanitary, orderly and attractive environment.

Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services, improved patient care, and a high level of satisfaction from patients, families, staff, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks in assigned area of hospital, medical center, medical office building or satellite.
• Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of assigned area.
• Assists in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

• Coursework/Training: On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
