About the role

Cedarbrook Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Environmental Services Technician or Laundry Attendant. This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness of our facilities and the efficient operation of our laundry services.

Locations

• Allentown
• Fountain Hill (Operated by County of Lehigh)

Compensation

• Base Pay: $18.31/hr
• Full-time 3p-11p (Allentown): $17.73/hr
• 3-11 Shift Differential: $2.00/hr
• Weekend Differential: $2.00/hr

Schedule

• Part-time: 2-3 days/week, 1,000 hours/year
• Full-time: 3p-11p (Allentown)
• PT: 8p-12a Environmental Tech (experience with floor care) – Fountain Hill location

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to learn the specific uses of assigned equipment and cleaning products
• Basic knowledge of laundering methods, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to learn the specific uses of assigned equipment and laundry products
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other facility staff, and residents and their families
• Must have full use of hands, ability to stand for extensive periods, bend, pull, push and lift a minimum of 40 pounds (Full Job Description Upon Interview)

Qualifications

• Ability to read directions, instructions and safety precautions pertaining to cleaning products and equipment use and maintenance
• Equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience which has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities cited above
