About the role

Join our dynamic team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff dedicated to providing exceptional care for your pets. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Tailored patient care including diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of various medical conditions.
  • Performing surgeries under general anesthesia, including routine and complex procedures.
  • Assisting in emergency cases, providing immediate care and coordinating with specialists as needed.
  • Administering medications, drawing blood, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Keeping detailed records of patient visits, treatments, and progress.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of North Carolina.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including electronic health record software.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for animal welfare and commitment to high-quality veterinary care.

Skills

  • Skilled in using surgical equipment and techniques.
  • Familiarity with internal medicine and oncology practices.
  • Experience with rehabilitation and pain management techniques.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
