Environmental Services Team Member
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $3,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible Environmental Service Technicians! Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full- or part-time Environmental Service Technician position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
About the role
Lincoln Hospital is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Team Member (housekeeping) to join their team, working in the Watson building. EVS Team Members play a vital role in the care provided to patients we serve. This position consists of 24 hours per week, day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Clean exam rooms after patients have left
- Empty trash containers
- Collect soiled linen bags and replace with fresh bags
- Keep stairwells and lobby areas clean and free of dust
- Ensure public and staff bathrooms are stocked with paper products
- Stock the linen cart
- Collect bio-hazardous material and deliver to the hospital for processing
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Relevant experience preferred

Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.70 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
Schedule
This position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
