Environmental Services Supervisor

About the role

The Environmental Services Supervisor at Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network (NRHN) supports the organization's mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes. Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, this role oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the Environmental Services (EVS) Department, which includes both Housekeeping and Laundry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the EVS Department, including Housekeeping and Laundry.
• Serve as the day-to-day liaison with all internal departments on all Housekeeping and Laundry matters, including logistics for Housekeeping-related projects.
• Support the Environmental Services Manager with scheduling, training, and quality standards of Housekeeping and Laundry operations.
• Directly perform EVS duties during staffing shortages, PTO coverage, and intermittent vacancies.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in Health Care Environmental Services Setting is required.
• Prior Supervisory or Lead experience is preferred.
