Environmental Services Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (with every other weekend and rotating holidays)
Location: St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE

About the Role

The Environmental Services Supervisor assists the Director with the daily operations of the Environmental Services department.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates colleagues.
• Ensures that the hospital and other designated areas are maintained in a clean, sanitized, and attractive condition.
• Works closely with Infection Control, Materials Management, and Plant Operations.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-4 years experience in housekeeping/environmental services; hospital or healthcare experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated capabilities to manage and lead a team.
• Ability to prioritize staffing needs.
• Self-directed, organized, and possess leadership qualities.
• Capable of prioritizing and completing duties in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to adjust to changing healthcare designs.
• Able to work well under time constraints.
• Computer knowledge using spreadsheets and word processing software.
