Environmental Services - Housekeeping Aide - (RPT)

About the role

Madisonhealth is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Aide to clean and disinfect all areas of the hospital, including clinical areas, patient rooms, offices, lobbies, and hallways. The incumbent will work in conjunction with other Housekeeping Aides, Special Project Techs, and some clinical staff to ensure patient rooms promote an environment of healing. The Housekeeping Aide will be a constant point of contact for patients, patient families, and visitors and must provide appropriate customer service to the standard Madisonhealth is known for.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect hospital areas, including clinical spaces, patient rooms, offices, lobbies, and hallways.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping Aides, Special Project Techs, and clinical staff to maintain a healing environment.
• Provide customer service to patients, families, and visitors.

Requirements

• Read and understand technical information (e.g., product/chemical labels, Safety Data Sheets, policy manuals, and work instructions).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, MS Publisher (or equivalent), and PowerPoint.
• Proven integrity, respect, and initiative.

Qualifications

• Medical facility cleaning/janitorial experience preferred.

Schedule

Regular Part Time - Days
3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
