About the role
Madisonhealth is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Aide to clean and disinfect all areas of the hospital, including clinical areas, patient rooms, offices, lobbies, and hallways. The incumbent will work with other Housekeeping Aides, Special Project Techs, and clinical staff to ensure patient rooms promote an environment of healing. As a constant point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, you must provide customer service that meets Madisonhealth’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect hospital areas, including patient rooms, offices, lobbies, and hallways
- Collaborate with Housekeeping Aides, Special Project Techs, and clinical staff
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors
- Read and understand technical information such as product/chemical labels, Safety Data Sheets, policy manuals, and work instructions
Requirements
- Medical facility cleaning/janitorial experience preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, Excel, MS Publisher (or equivalent), and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated integrity, respect, and initiative
