About the role
Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility, is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Services Director.
Responsibilities
- Lead the floor technicians, housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure cleanliness of all areas of the facility
- Assist the team in performing routine cleaning of residents’ rooms, nursing units, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobby, lounge, restrooms and corridors
- Demonstrate ability to utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure for laundry, housekeeping and floor care
- Assist with residents' clothing and inventory
- Move residents’ personal items for discharges/room changes
- Manage staffing schedules, daily hours and paid time off requests
- Maintain spend down logs according to budget
