Environmental Services Associate- Full Time

About the role

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking Full Time Environmental Service Associates to join our team in Darby, PA. The position reports to the Manager of Operations, Environmental Services and involves working night shifts to maintain sanitary conditions, prevent infection spread, and support patient and visitor safety.

Responsibilities

• Promote sanitary conditions to prevent the spread of infection and odors.
• Demonstrate knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools.
• Perform all cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition.
• Respond rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
• Exercise good judgment while working around patients and visitors.
• Work every other weekend and every other major holiday (Floor Tech requirement).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency (required)
