Environmental Services Associate

Location: Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Philadelphia, PA

About the role

The Environmental Services Associate will be responsible for the hands-on day-to-day cleanliness of the physical facilities of the RJKCCC, in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility as directed by the Facilities Supervisor/Facilities Manager or Administrator, to assure that the facility is maintained in a safe and clean manner. The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive, and the candidate will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day cleanliness of the facility in compliance with Federal, State, and local standards.
• Perform cleaning tasks as directed by the Facilities Supervisor or Facilities Manager.
• Ensure the facility is safe and clean for all users.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least one year of professional cleaning experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Working knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools of the trade.
• Good interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to move freely about the Kroc Center.
• Understanding and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.

Qualifications

Child Protection Clearances: PA Act 153 requires all prospective employees to complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

Part-Time: Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as required to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center.
