Environmental Services Aide PRN-As Needed- Varied shifts $21.28 per hour (Diff $3.00-$5.00)

About the role

The Environmental Services Aide is assigned to work in a variety of assignments based on facility need. This position supports facility cleanliness and infection control by performing daily cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the health center.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services rooms, baths and other assigned areas.
• Cleans, mops and waxes floors, dusts furniture and equipment.
• Assists with laundry pick-up, sorting, folding and delivery.
• Assists in cleaning of emergency spill observed or upon request.
• Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and have repairs made when needed.
• Gather and dispose of refuse.
• Transport hospital equipment as assigned.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with Administration, Directors, physicians and their office staff, hospital staff, and vendors to ensure goals are optimized and that good working relationships are cultivated and retained.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred.

Qualifications

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for supporting facility cleanliness and infection control by performing daily cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the health center. EVS Aides are assigned based on facility needs and may work in patient rooms, procedure areas, resident areas, offices, and public/common areas.

Pay

PRN as needed position
Pay Range: $20.81 per hour (eligible for shift differential).

Schedule

• Weekday Nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $3.00 per hour
• Weekend Days - Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - $3.50 per hour
• Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $5.00 per hour
