Environmental Services Aide - Per Diem (Stony Brook Southampton Hospital)

Responsibilities

• General environmental duties, wall washing, bed and room cleaning, discharge cleaning, trash removal.
• Work in the OR and perform all duties associated with the operating room assignment.
• Work with minimal supervision and prioritize responsibilities.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Team environment required.
• Duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write simple English.
• Understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Customer service oriented.
• Heavy physical effort – lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged, extensive & considerable standing/walking.
• Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling.
