Job Overview
M Health Fairview is seeking a Lead EVS Aide Relief at their UMMC West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. This position is union-represented under SEIU and offers competitive benefits.
Responsibilities (EVS Aide)
- Maintains knowledge of, and aligns with, all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
- Participates in improving clinical and operational outcomes
- Cleans all occupied rooms daily to maintain a clean, sanitary environment
- Prepares discharge units and surgical procedure areas and completes end-of-day cleaning
- Maintains and cleans hard surface and carpeted flooring, offices, and public areas
- Collects and disposes of refuse and cleans up after emergency spills and breakages
- Performs special work assignments and reports to supervisor upon completion
- Maintains security requirements for medications and IV solutions
- Mixes, uses supplies, and maintains equipment for cost containment and safety
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Basic computer skills for discharge coordination and other tasks
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality (2+ years preferred)

Compensation
The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate may be influenced by various factors including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer will be honored.
