Environmental Service Professional II- Full Time (PM Shift)

A Day in the Life

Environmental Services is front line infection prevention responsible for performing services in accordance with established organizational policies and procedures for providing a safe environment, achieved by demonstrating the principles of cleaning, disinfection and quality assurance toward the reduction of harmful pathogens for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff.

This position will be Cross-trained to independently and competently perform in two or more identified areas(s) based on shift and have completed at least six months of service in Munson Medical’s Environmental Services Department.

• Standing and walking much of the day.
• May require bending, stretching, climbing ladders, lifting, pulling and pushing.
• Use of products that are potentially harmful if used improperly.

Qualifications

• 6 months of hospital environmental service/housekeeping experience

Additional Information

• Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
• MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
