About the Role
As an Environmental Service Aide at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, clients, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Maintains all floor surfaces.
- Performs repetitive cleaning operations throughout the workday under specific instructions with minimal need for individual judgment.
- Works with frequent contact with water and cleaning solutions.
- Moves furniture as required.
- Replaces shower curtains as needed.
- Collects soiled linen and disposes of it in the laundry chute.

Pay
The starting hourly rate for this role is $17.51. The final base compensation may vary based on factors such as labor market data, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and budget considerations. Full-time and part-time (20+ hours/week) positions may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, retirement benefits, shift differentials, and performance-based incentives.
