Environmental Service Aid - #8227

About the role

As an Environmental Services Associate, you will provide the highest quality of housekeeping services to the hospital, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff by utilizing available resources and basic housekeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving, and deep cleaning under the direction of EVS Management.
• Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in strict adherence to Infection Control protocols.
• Remove and properly dispose of all trash in appropriate containers throughout the shift and prior to the end of the shift.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and uncontaminated environment by keeping work areas sanitized and orderly.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all products/chemicals used daily for assigned areas.
• Report inventory levels when running low and any equipment issues to the EVS Management team.
• Provide the highest level of customer service at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Environmental Services or janitorial experience.
• Flexible availability.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Strong awareness of safety protocols.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (25 hours per week).
