Environmental Service Aid - #7059

About the role

START IMMEDIATELY - Cleaner with Janitorial Experience. Schedule and Location: Miramar - Saturday and Sunday 12pm-12am (ONLY WEEKEND) (24hours/Weekly).

Responsibilities

• Provides the highest quality of housekeeping services to the hospital.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the patients, visitors and staff by utilizing available resources and basic housekeeping skills.
• Completes general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving and deep cleaning.
• Ensures all tasks are completed safely, and in strict adherence to Infection Control.
• Ensures all trash is removed and properly placed in the appropriate containers throughout shift and prior to end of shift.
• Contributes to a safe, clean, and uncontaminated environment by ensuring work areas are kept clean, sanitized, and orderly.
• Knowledge and understanding of all products/chemicals to be used on a daily basis for areas assigned.
• Reports inventory levels when running low and any issues with equipment to EVS Management team.
• Provides the highest level of customer service at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of Environmental Services experience.
• Flexible availability.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety and proactive leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a Background Check.
• Must be able to pass Drug Test.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
