Environmental Senior Project Manager
General Responsibilities
Terracon is looking for curious minds to join us as an Environmental Senior Project Manager. You will be responsible for managing subsurface investigations, soil vapor assessments, and remedial actions on behalf of our diverse client base. This position would also be responsible for helping to develop new client relationships and maintaining our existing client base. Work with a team of professional experts in our Site Investigation/Remediation department and work on dynamic projects collaboratively with colleagues and clients to ensure work is executed on time and within budget. You will help us identify, manage, win, and execute project opportunities while maintaining client relationships, and actively participating in industry and professional organizations to grow new client relationships and learn about current market trends.
Requirements
- Ability to independently analyze and interpret analytical data, technical reports, technical guidance documents, and governmental regulations pertaining to environmental contamination.
- Strong technical writing skills including written reports and business correspondence.
- Able to effectively present information verbally and respond to questions from managers and clients.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with a strong work ethic.
- Strong experience with environmental investigation (including field data collection) and remediation related to commercial/industrial, transportation and energy clients.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting or environmental engineering work.
- OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper and current annual refresher.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical disciplines such as Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification is preferred, but not required.
