Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies to grow the Environmental business to meet annual sales budget
- Under supervision, Define, Develop and Execute Environmental project business models
- Develop competitive product comparisons
- Become an expert of Environmental products – which means develop an understanding of air flow, filtration, controls and fire protection systems
- Forecasting
- Distributor training
- Development of market size and share models
- Under supervision, Development and execution of product promotions
- Facilitate Field Trials
- Manage the Weld fume control website
- Works directly with customers on specifications of environmental systems
- Provide Price Recommendations from margin analysis and competitive comparisons
- Field sales support for end-users, distributors and Lincoln personnel
- Support the development of materials designed to motivate sales inquiries
- Development of sales and marketing literature including videos
- Work with cross-functional teams including engineering and manufacturing
- Under supervision, be engaged in new product development in all phases of development from voice of the customer to product launch
- Work with manufacturing, service and engineering to improve products and review field related issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Basic Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Environmental Science or related
- Min 3-5 years in environmental sales or related industry
- Proficient in presenting to customers
- Basic understanding of welding and cutting practices and procedures, completion of the full Lincoln Sales Training Program preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on tactical projects across multiple areas of the organization
- Fluent in spoken and written English with good public speaking ability
- Proficient in core computer software skills such as all Microsoft Office applications and, SAP
- Able to handle a constantly changing set of priorities
- Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time
