About the role
Candidate will assist with environmental field investigations and support the Project Team in the preparation of technical reports. The individual will contribute to project-related tasks associated with hazardous/non-hazardous waste site investigation, remediation, and other physical or natural-science based project work under the guidance of senior staff.
Responsibilities
- Complete report writing including Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigation Reports, Remedial Investigation Reports, and Remedial Action Reports.
- Complete Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Investigations, Public Notice, Receptor Evaluations including well searches, and Electronic Deliverables for submittal to the NJDEP.
- Conduct fieldwork to complete site investigation, remedial investigation, and remedial action activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience working in the environmental field.
- Techincal knowledge of the NJDEP Site Remediation Program and associated regulatory requirements.
- 40-Hour OSHA Training required.
- Technical writing skills are a must.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
