PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Familiarity with natural resources permitting at the federal and state level
- Familiarity with surveys required to successfully complete project permitting
- Experience conducting wetland delineations and habitat surveys
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Prepares deliverables and permit applications
- Effectively applies Audubon methodology and enforces project standards
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Remains completely accessible to the project manager during life of project, ensuring specific requests are processed timely and appropriately
- Participates as a contributing member of assigned Business Unit
- Affixes an active role in developing their skills and progressing professionally
- Identifies opportunities for team member improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 5-7+ years of experience
- Preferred: Wetland certificate
- Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of industry related experience as a planner/scientist or similar role
- Experience Preferred: 5 years of linear survey experience
