Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking Environmental Science students to join their Deerfield, Illinois (IL) office. This position is not available remotely.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce clients' visions for the built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and client's practices, procedures, and standards.
- Gain knowledge in natural resource regulations, water quality regulatory programs, wetlands identification, including botany and soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, geographic information systems, and environmental science.
- Travel and fieldwork may be required (approximately 10-30%)
Qualifications
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related fields.
