Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking Environmental Science students to join their Charleston, South Carolina (SC) office. This position is not available remotely.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems and assist project managers
- Collaborate across disciplines to produce clients' visions for the built environment
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and client’s practices, procedures, and standards
- Gain knowledge in natural resource regulations, water quality regulatory programs, wetlands identification, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, and environmental science
- May require some travel and fieldwork (approximately 10-30%)
Qualifications
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field
