Environmental Science Intern
About the Role
Dewberry is seeking an Environmental Science Intern to join our Fairfax, VA office for Summer 2027. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to spend the summer working with a team of environmental professionals and apply academic knowledge in the field. A housing stipend may be provided for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities
- Assist professionals with natural resource inventory, analysis, wetland delineation, permitting, and mitigation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Pay
Salary Range: $18.75/hour – $29.75/hour, depending on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
