Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking Environmental Science graduates for its Columbus, OH office starting in 2027. This role is not remote.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce clients' visions for the built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
- Gain knowledge in natural resource regulations, water quality regulatory programs, wetlands identification (including botany and soil science), ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, and environmental science.
- Travel and fieldwork may be required (approximately 10-30%).
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant majors such as Biology, Environmental Science, or related fields by Summer 2027.
